Now Corp., a listed company controlled by the Velarde family, said Tuesday it secured a contract from the Supreme Court to install an email system for the judiciary. Now said in a disclosure to the stock exchange it received from the Supreme Court’s bids and awards committee for goods and services the notice of award of the contract for the installation of the Judiciary email system. The project, which includes the email and collaboration of 7,000 users, is being undertaken by the company together with joint venture partner Accent Micro Technologies, Inc., utilizing the Integrated Business Machine collaboration solution portfolio. Now also delivers broadband services via point-to-point and point-to-multipoint system and guarantees speeds of up to 700Mbps.  Its network is concentrated in Mega Manila focusing on the enterprise segment such as BPOs, schools, hospitals, hotels and commercial buildings.
